Cosplay - Some impressive, mostly nauseating

At the Anime Festival Asia some time last year, I was exposed to the world of cosplayers and 2D characters wannabes.

Some individuals were outstanding in both their eleborate costumes and accessories, coupled with their passion in portraying the character. Needless to say that their looks fitted the getup.

While the rest of the losers should just buzz off and continue wearing 3 for $10 shirts and rot their life away in front of their computer drooling at good looking characters which they will never become. Life sucks for them.

The girl on the left should just go home and play barbie doll or something. The cosplayer in purple was a real head turner that day. Though I'm not sure who she was cosplaying, her outfit and wig were very nice indeed.

At first glance, they seem to be a good team of cosplayers, the rightmost being Hatsune Miku - a famous computer programming character amongst the Otaku clan. I'm quite sure their outfits and wig cost a bomb. But if you take a closer look, you'll realised as I did that they are all probably 14-15 year old brats. Zzzz... go study or something pls.

FYI, the real Hatsune Miku looks something like this. (Edit: on second look, she's not cosplaying Hatsune Miku. But yeah, same hair. Pardon my limited anime knowledge but I have no clue who she's cosplaying. )

You get the picture. Moving on.

Finally some good cosplay here! I won't say its the best but at least it's pleasing to the eyes. Especially the guy, I suppose that he's probably quite cute in real life too. Heh.

More veterans spotted. I'm still trying to figure out the character of the lady in red with the butterfly theme (even on her heels). The guy on the right was just sleepy I guess.

From left: Yamamoto (?), Gokudera, Hibari. I applaud these girls for probably having their chests coiled up to play these characters.

The golden hair guy and the supposed twins have the best faces. I won't even talk about the rest. Click to zoom in at your own risk. Wait while I get a bucket.

Finally we see a team cosplaying some very familiar characters.

Nami and Robin from One Piece. Couldn't quite recognise them until I saw Nami's Clima-Tact. I think Nami has recently gain some weight around her waist...

But luckily they were not as bad as these cosplayers I found randomly on the net.

Nami is just fucking wrong.

Putting other things aside, this team actually put in quite a bit of effort. Luffy was even found to be biting off from his favourite meat.

They even cut out Sanji's heart shape eyes. Lol

But I think the best in the team goes to Sogeking (cause can't see his face).

And finally, I spotted a Squall Leonhart from everyone's favourite RPG - FFXII. (Edit: FFVIII. Seriously you do know it's a typo right. That or I'm too old to remember anything that happened before yesterday.)

He's so cute when he smiles... ahh...

And so here is the Squall I spotted.

I am traumatised.

Now we shall proceed to brainwash ourselves with photos of cute girls.

They have this entire row of anime posters. It's fun to count how many of those I've watched before.

Long queue at Moe moe kyun maid cafe and it's easy to know why.

Cosplay competition. The winner went to the Gundam Mobile suit. Oh well, I think its because the face can't be seen.

Lastly, I shall show you the best Lelouch (Code Geass) cosplay I've ever seen. Seriously he's good.
